EENIE MEENIE MINY MO

WHICH BIKE SHOULD I TAKE AND GO
Ended up taking the Trek XO2 CX, rode around town on pavement mixed with ice. Felt zippy, been only riding on snow trails with fat tires and a hardtail the last couple of weeks. So the lighter bike, on pavement felt like flying. One of these days I am going to have get down and dirty and take care of some bike maintenance, gotta take care of the horses. My main three rides are Trek 1600 road bike, Trek 6700 Hardtail for snow travels, and Trek XO2 a great cycle cross for dirt trails, and put on studs for ice and light snow.

The weather was nice today. We had a temp around 28 degrees. The snow felt almost heavy.

Glad you could do a city ride today.

I'm pals with the local Trek rep here in the Seattle area. Nice job keeping him indirectly employed - with all your Treks.

I have about 17 bikes hanging in the garage - not all mine, but most are. Three main ones:

1997 Ibis Hakkalugi 'cross bike. Rain commuter and now, occasional 'cross race bike. Super fun all around bike.

2007 Ibis Silk Carbon. My nice and semi-nice weather road bike.

2007 Cannondale hardtail - eBay police frame special - set up with 10 year old XTR and '04 Fox fork. For mountain biking and occasional racing.

You have a fun blog going here.

Hi Dan O,
That's a nice stable full you got there. At the beggining of this year, I was thinking about riding a dirt century on every bike of mine that I could. Well it ended up I rode 53 dirt centuries this year (so far, need one more) but they were all on one bike. Seems all the time I spent riding, I didn't have the time to keep getting bikes ready. Thanks for stopping, and happy rides to you.
