Well here is the weather forecast. This might be it for dirt trail riding for awhile. It now becomes snow riding. Cold below zero temps are going to follow this snow. So clothing, riding style, bike tires, all become a new challenge. Yabba dabba doo. I am ready.
A POWERFUL WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT THE REGION TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE 6 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THUNDER-SNOW MAY OCCUR TUESDAY NIGHT ALONG WITH VERY HEAVY SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES AN HOUR.
AS THE SYSTEM MOVES OFF TO THE EAST LATE TUESDAY NIGHT... NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 50 MPH. THIS WILL CREATE WIDESPREAD BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. WHITEOUT CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED AT TIMES
