So I hop on the 'skinnie' road bike and ride my about town ride. Rode up to papa's house, no one home, well you know how 87 year old guys are, like a fart in the skillet and can't sit still.
My legs had fun, and so did I.
With all the rain we had around here the Mushrooms are huge this year.
One step closer to you. I stopped at my local bike shop after work, where my friends and wrenches reside to talk about the bike below. Well, as fate would have it, I can buy this bike through Parrish at Bicycle World. I believe strongly to support your local folks first. Last winter I was so tempted to buy a Pugsley. I said to myself if I am still riding like a crazy man this coming fall, I will buy a real "snow bike" So Salsa comes out with this girl, I like the aluminium frame, and 4 inch tire capability. Typically a good percentage of time in Iowa winters, the snow cover is deep enough that a "skinnie" Riding Mountain bike frames and tires you can't hook up. Most of us mountain bikers were slaughtered in the Triple D race this last January in the deeper snow by Pugsley's and their 4 inch tires. I say most of us because there were a few manimals that just kept kick'n slipping and sliding and pounded through with very little traction.
Thanks for stopping
Ride on
