Headed out for some gravel travel today. Started out in a westward direction, wind was buzzing all around me, from about a 180 degree radius on my front side, gusty and changing directions fast. Really was rock'n my world. The return route wind was at my backside unless all of a sudden a wind gust would whack me from the side and try to push me over. Rode 65 miles on gravel, knee was just a bit sore, was worst if I would stop and then start up again. All in all it's doing OK, hope for the same tomorrow.
Went up and visited with ma and pa, and my brother Albert was there. He lives about 60 miles from here. I took his picture and he tried to cover himself up, and said I'm not going on your blog. So I said don't worry, he relaxed then, so I took a uncovered shot. Ha ha, Al your on my blog now. He rides a lot of bicycle too, we made plans to ride together soon, is a good way to chat and have lots of fun while your at it.
I came home and planted in the garden a few green peppers, tomatoes, and lots of sunflower seeds. Hope Jack Frost is done for the year.

Mr. D you are braver than me. I'm a whimp when it comes to wind. Now when I was a runner for 10+ years I ran in everything, rain, snow, sleet, wind storms, snow storms etc. There's just something about being on a bike and bad weather that I dislike!!!!

PS. I baked some brownies for your good effort, but you'll have to share them with Harry Legge's....the other windy rider!
